In Inspera, there is (so far) no dedicated function to create question banks. All your questions will be available in "Author" > "Questions". Instead, you can filter your questions and you can save your filtered searches as lists.

Filter settings for questions

Filters 1-3 are activated by clicking on them and deactivated by clicking once again.

Labels

It's especially the labels that can help you finding the question you look for. By using labels, you can easily find your questions about a certain topic or for a certain course. Together with the filter options inside "Questions", you can create question banks.

Examples of lables that might be useful:

topics
course code
exam code
level (basic/avancerad, first cycle/second cycle)
difficulty level
number of points
language
taxonomy
learning outcomes
literature/source/reference

You can filter by individual labels or combine the filtering to show all tasks that have any of the selected labels (the ‘Any’ button) or only tasks that have all the labels you have marked (the ‘All’ button).

Settings for filtering by labels

Shows how many filters you have selected.
Shows which labels you have filtered by.
Here you can enter the name of the label you are searching for. In the example above, it is a (fictional) course code.
Here is an example of a label that was marked in the previous search ('Schweiz' is Swedish for 'Switzerland'); it still appears when you continue searching for more labels.
Mark the labels that match your search.
Here you choose whether you are looking for all questions that have any of the selected labels or if you only want to see questions that have all the selected labels.

Lists

You can create lists and administrate them by using the lists-button (see step 7 in the screenshot above).

You can save your filter results by clicking on the lists-button. Your saved lists are shown in the panel to the left. By clicking on the list's name, only those questions from that list are shown while other questions are hidden. If you then click on "All questions", you can see all your questions again. If you want to delete a list, you have to open it and click on the lists-button. There you will see a "Remove" button.
